Kevin,
I am not sure that "claymated" is a word, but since I am an English teacher I will say it in class (or put it on my blog) and then I think it will officially become one.
I think that cassius needs brutus because the people love brutus dearly and if brutus were to stand against one of his best friends( which brutus does mention caesar as one) then it would show the people that caesar is not the right way to go or at least make them think about what they are doing
mr kraz. are we taking just the essay part of the test tommorrow or do we take the multiple choice part? we didnt take the essay part today because of picturers
isnt he (cassius) saying that he (Cassius) has heard respected people speak of how much they like Brutus and Brutus doesnt think that people like him..so Cassiuis says that each respected man in Rome wishes that Brutus has their (respcted men) eye's..or in easier terms..the respected people want brutus to have their view of brutus for himself..its hard to put it into writing..does it make sense??
the questions from the ceasar test were:
..who is the speaker of the qoute?------Cassius
..what does he imply?---------------------i think the answer is wat i have written above in my previou comment
..who is the "his"---------------------------each respected man
it was phaethon and ged... the connection is that phaethon has a short temper and wants to prove himself, so he takes on way more than he can handle and so he suffers the consequences. Phaethon is the story with the boy driving the sun chariot

I think cassius thinks caesar is weak because cassius saved caesar from the river and saw him when he was sick and whinning in spain
